Encho Staykov

Encho Staykov is an experienced risk manager currently working at the Bulgarian National Bank since April 2021, overseeing the management of international foreign reserves and ensuring compliance with risk limits and investment activities. Previously, Encho served as the Head of Treasury Sales at Piraeus Bank from September 2016 to November 2019, where responsibilities included managing Treasury sales activities for institutional and corporate clients while adhering to relevant regulations. Prior to that role, Encho was an Independent Trader from December 2012 to August 2016 and worked as Chief Dealer at CIBANK JSC from September 1996 to November 2012, handling various foreign exchange transactions and fixed income instruments. Encho's career began at the Bulgarian Commercial and Industrial Bank, where duties included executing spot FX and money market transactions. Encho holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of National and World Economy, obtained between 1987 and 1992.
