Milen Miletiev

Milen Miletiev, CISA, is a seasoned IT auditor with extensive experience in information technology and information security management across various sectors. Currently serving as Principal IT Auditor at the Bulgarian National Bank since July 2021, Milen Miletiev conducts inspections related to European banking standards and oversees risk supervision in information and communication technologies. Previously, Milen worked as an IT Internal Auditor at BORICA AD, established annual audit plans, and developed audit methodologies. Milen held significant roles in the Ministry of Defence, where responsibilities included overseeing technology infrastructure and cybersecurity for the Integrated Communication and Information Management System. Further experience includes managerial positions at “G. S. Rakovski” National Defence College, an Air Force Base, and an air control station, focusing on digital transformation and operational efficiency. Milen holds multiple master's degrees in Strategic Management, Finance, and Communications Engineering, further solidifying a robust professional foundation.
