Joel Swift

Joel Swift is a Design Engineer with extensive experience in mechanical and dimensional engineering. Currently employed at Bulk Handling Systems since July 2022, Joel previously served as a Mechanical Design Engineer at West Salem Machinery and as an Engineer at Morrow, where responsibilities included determining appropriate crane models and configurations. Previous roles at PCC Structurals, Inc. involved analyzing dimensional data and developing control charts to improve process control. Joel's engineering career began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University, complemented by internships focusing on mechanical engineering and process control. Early experience in management and sales at Papa Murphy's International and Guitar Center contributed to strong leadership and customer service skills.
