Rewon Shimray

Rewon Shimray is a Graphic Designer currently employed at Bullock Texas State History Museum since October 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Gallery Assistant at Blanton Museum of Art from August 2022 to August 2023, and as Opinion Editor for The Baylor Lariat from August 2019 to May 2020, where management of writers and editorial meetings took place. Rewon also held internships at Baylor University, focusing on interfaith dialogue, and at Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, which involved media production abroad. Additional roles encompass editorial cartoonist and news reporter for The Baylor Lariat, missions and community outreach coordinator at Grace Church, and media partner for Sustainable Food Center. Rewon earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Baylor University in 2020.
