They began their career as a Trade Assistant at D & H Engineering, where they gained expertise in welding and heavy equipment repairs. Mitchell advanced to roles such as Diesel Fitter at Macarthur Coal, achieving a Certificate III in Diesel Fitting before taking on various supervisory positions at BUMA Australia, HSE Mining, and Downer.
