John Quinn

John Quinn has extensive work experience in the mechanical technician field. John started their career in the Royal Navy in 1991 as a Leading Marine engineering mechanic and served until 2001. After leaving the navy, they worked at Wood Group A&C as a Fuel systems technician for five years, specializing in gas turbine fuel systems. In 2006, they joined johnstons of elgin as a Maintenance engineer for a year before moving on to Cansco Greig Engineering as a Surveyor, where they carried out dimensional surveys of pipework and structures and produced isometric drawings for fabrication. John then worked at Bluewater Energy Services for six years, starting as a Mechanical Technician and later becoming a Lead Mechanical Technician. Currently, they are employed at Bumi Armada as a Lead Mechanical Technician.

John Quinn attended Forres Academy from 1986 to 1990. John then went on to study Oil related plant operation at Inverness College from 1990 to 1991, earning a C&G degree.
