Oluwaseun Shoga

Oluwaseun Shoga has been working in the field of Human Resources and Financial Analysis since 2007. Oluwaseun began their career at Boevi Lawson & Co as a Financial Analyst, where they were responsible for summarizing data to structure reports on financial status, improving financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, and identifying trends. Oluwaseun also reconciled transactions by comparing and correcting data. In 2016, they joined Jumia Nigeria as a Human Resources Associate - People Operations & Data Management. Oluwaseun then served as a Human Resources Officer - People Operations, a Human Resources Executive/Business Partnering, and a Compensation Benefits Lead. In their role as Human Resources Assistant - Talent Acquisition, they supported the talent acquisition team with graduate recruitment for Tier 1 events, managed the end to end recruitment process for interns, and supported the team with background and reference checks for prospective employees. Currently, Oluwaseun Shoga is a People Operations Manager at Bumpa, a position they have held since 2022.

Oluwaseun Shoga completed their high school education at King's College, Lagos from 1998 to 2004. Oluwaseun then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from the University of Lagos between 2006 and 2010. In addition, they hold certifications from LinkedIn in Finding and Retaining High Potentials, Recruiting Foundations, Talent Management, and Talent Sourcing, all obtained in July 2017. Oluwaseun also holds a Project Management (PRINCE2TM Certified Practitioner) certification obtained in July 2016.
