Rachel Kent currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Bundanon since September 2021. Prior to this role, Rachel was the Chief Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney from 2011 to September 2021, overseeing the curatorial team and driving the institution's artistic vision and programming. Rachel's extensive experience includes serving as a TEDx speaker, a jury member for Artes Mundi 9, and an independent writer and editor over a two-decade freelance career. Rachel has held various curatorial positions, including Senior Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Curator at the Ian Potter Museum of Art, with notable projects like "Viewing the Invisible: Fred Wilson" and "Infinite Space: women, minimalism and the sculptural object." Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts and postgraduate diplomas in Art History and Art Curatorship from the University of Melbourne, along with additional leadership training.
