Katharina Dr. Kaupe

Katharina Dr. Kaupe is an experienced professional currently serving as the Vorsitzende des Personalrates and Senior Case Handler at the Bundeskartellamt since July 2022. With a robust background in competition law and international collaboration, Dr. Kaupe has held various leadership roles, including project leader for the Verwaltungspartnerschaft Deutschland/Ägypten and participation in EU Twinning projects advising competition authorities in Egypt, Armenia, Poland, and Croatia. Prior experience includes serving as a Key Expertin for anti-corruption in Macedonia and an Expertin reviewing competition in Ukraine. Dr. Kaupe has also contributed to internal audit processes at the Bundeskartellamt. Academic credentials include a degree from The University of Bonn, completed in 1997.
