Home Affairs Attaché at Bundesministerium für Inneres (BMI)

Nagy Andreas serves as the Home Affairs Attaché at the Ministry of the Interior in Austria since January 2023, focusing on operational police work and strategic cooperation between Albanian and Austrian home affairs authorities. Previously, Nagy held various roles, including European Migration Liaison Officer at the European External Action Service and Police Liaison Officer at the Ministry of the Interior, managing cross-border security and criminal investigation collaborations with Hungarian authorities. Nagy has also worked as Legal Counsel, representing the Interior Ministry in asylum-related court matters and developing training materials on legal changes. Earlier experience includes directing the Austrian Mootcourt Competition as well as serving as President of ELSA Austria. Nagy holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Security Management from Fachhochschule Wiener Neustadt and a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Vienna.
