Robert Thek

Robert Thek currently serves as a NIS Auditor in the Audit and Legal Department at Bundesministerium für Inneres (BMI) since February 2023. Prior to this role, Robert spent over a decade at Kapsch BusinessCom, progressing from IS Auditor to Teamlead Information Security Audit and Assessment, ultimately becoming Head of Information Security Audit & Assessment. Robert's earlier experience includes a position as Teamlead for IS Services at Security Research GmbH from 2006 to 2011. Robert holds a degree in Business Engineering for Informatics, which was obtained from Technische Universität Wien between 2001 and 2007.
