Sharad Cornejo Altuzar

Sharad Cornejo Altuzar is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in game services and software development. Currently, as the Principal Engineering Lead for Destiny Game Services at Bungie since October 2016, Sharad leads a team responsible for critical in-game functionalities for Destiny 2 and Destiny 1, overseeing technical aspects related to player engagement and services infrastructure. Previous roles include Engineering Architect, where Sharad contributed to high-scale services and major features, and Senior Engineer focused on cloud-based solutions. Prior to Bungie, Sharad worked at Microsoft in various capacities, including Senior Software Engineer on the Xbox Live Compute team. Additionally, Sharad has held positions at Softtek, Vision Consulting, The Kouncil, and RealTime Services, and holds a Game Programming Certificate from the University of Washington and a BS in Computer Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
