William Davey is an experienced engineer specializing in game and engine development, currently serving as a Senior Engineer for Frontiers Engineering at Bungie, contributing to new engine systems for Destiny 2 since January 2023. Previously, Davey held positions at Verizon, where significant achievements included leading the Bluejeans: Spaces project and enhancing the proprietary game engine’s networking stack. Additional expertise was gained through various roles, from Principal Engineer at Verizon to Lead Programmer at 1st Playable Productions, where work involved developing games across multiple platforms. Davey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Games from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
