Robert Hawkins

Mr. Hawkins is a Department Manager for Environmental Services for BLE. He has over 20 years of professional experience as a project manager and risk management consultant in the field of environmental consulting and engineering. Mr. Hawkins leads of team of professionals including environmental engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, industrial hygienists, wetlands specialists, and safety professionals. In this role, he serves a variety of clients including construction, industrial manufacturers, national oil distributors, attorneys, real estate developers, healthcare, higher education, State and local municipalities on projects across the U.S.

Mr. Hawkins’ technical experience includes Environmental Site Assessments, Property Condition Assessments, Brownfield redevelopment, environmental regulatory compliance, industrial hygiene, facility decommissioning, contaminant assessment and remediation, mold/asbestos, and vapor intrusion assessments. Mr. Hawkins also supports the firm’s growth by serving in a Business Development role and represents the firm in various State and local associations.

Mr. Hawkins received his B.S. in Environmental Science from Lander University in 2001. He is a father of three boys and has been in the Upstate of SC his entire life. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors and playing sports with his family. Some of his favorite sports include basketball, baseball, and golf.
