Jason Chandrapal has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Tutor at Tutor Fort Worth in 2011. Jason then moved on to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where they held roles as a Medical Student, Peer Tutor, Student Government President, and Library Assistant from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, they became a Urology Research Fellow for the Department of Urology at the University of Utah. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Urology Resident and Surgical Resident at Duke University Health System. In 2018, they became an InnovateMD Fellow at Duke University School of Medicine, where they participated in a biodesign course and was part of two interprofessional groups that conceptually developed a medical device and subsequent business plan. In 2021, they were a Medical Consultant at Inlightened and a Medical Writer at Buoy Health. Currently, they are a Diagnostic Radiology Resident at Parkland Health and will become a Home Healthcare Provider at Signify Health in 2022.
Jason Chandrapal began their educational journey at Cypress Falls High School, from 1999 to 2003. Jason then obtained a Bachelor's degree in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from The University of Texas at Austin, from 2003 to 2007. Jason continued their education with a Master's degree in Science with a concentration in anatomy from UT Health San Antonio, from 2008 to 2011. Lastly, they obtained a MD from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center - School of Medicine, from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they have obtained a Physician in Training Medical License from the Texas Medical Board in June 2022, and a Medical License from the North Carolina Medical Board in August 2021.
