Laura Dyer

Laura Dyer is a seasoned professional in the fields of venture capital and climate risk mitigation, currently serving as Principal at Buoyant Ventures since January 2022. Dyer has held various roles at the firm including Senior Associate and MBA Associate, focusing on investments in digital solutions for climate challenges in sectors like energy and agriculture. Previously, Dyer was an Investor at Michigan Climate Venture, where responsibilities included co-directing education and operations, as well as leading the Food & Agriculture Vertical. Additional experience includes consulting roles at PopLuz and CapShift, creating financial models for startups, and significant corporate accounting and auditing roles at Ares Management and Deloitte. Dyer holds an MBA and an MS from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Accounting from UC Santa Barbara.
