Emma Leith

Emma Leith serves as the Chief Security & Controls Officer at Bupa Global for India, the UK, and Group Functions since January 2025. Prior to this role, Emma was the Director of Consulting for Cyber Security at Bridewell from November 2022 to January 2025. Emma held several notable positions at Santander UK as European CISO and UK CISO from September 2018 to September 2022, and was a Board Member at the Cyber Defence Alliance between January 2019 and August 2022. Emma's earlier experience includes serving as Director of Cyber Program and Strategy at Barclays and as CISO at bp, where responsibility included overseeing cyber security strategy for global trading operations. Emma's career also features roles at Boolea Ltd, Lloyds Banking Group, Royal Mail, and Deloitte. Emma's educational background includes a Master’s degree with Distinction in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Strathclyde.
