Thomas Whipp is an ethics-driven technology risk executive with over 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Technology Risk at Bupa since 2018, they lead a dedicated IT risk team and oversee significant cyber security programs while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. With prior roles including Chief Information Security Officer at Charles Taylor plc and Head of Risk at The Oval Group, Thomas has consistently shaped risk management and security capabilities across various firms. They hold a Master's degree in Security and Risk Management from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor's in Computer Systems and Software Engineering from the University of York.
