Asif Sheikh P.e.

Asif Sheikh, P.E. is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as the Manager of Water Engineering & Planning and previously as Principal Civil Engineer, Senior Civil Engineer, and Civil Engineering Associate at Burbank Water & Power since June 2011. Responsibilities include expanding the City of Burbank’s Recycled Water System through the design of water mains, service laterals, and connections, as well as construction management and financial tracking related to recycled water usage. Prior experience includes roles at Parsons, where hydraulic calculations were performed for wastewater treatment plants, the City of Los Angeles focusing on traffic signal design, and Layne Christensen, where design-build activities for water treatment plants were managed. Asif Sheikh holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles.
