Lara Nüßle

Lara N. is a Product Safety Engineer at Berlin Heart GmbH since June 2022, with prior experience as an Annotation Analyst at Pactera EDGE and a Master Thesis researcher at Christoph Miethke GmbH & Co. KG, where development of a test bench for hydrocephalus shunt valves was undertaken. Lara contributed as a Graduate Student Research Assistant on a project funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research focused on occlusion-resistant shunt valves and evaluated clinical follow-up data on occlusion causes. Additional experience includes serving as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at Technische Universität Berlin and an Undergraduate Student Research Assistant at aap Implantate AG, where mechanical evaluation of magnesium alloys for absorbable implants was performed. Lara holds a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin and completed an academic year abroad at Tohoku University, following a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
