Carsten Fiedler

Carsten Fiedler currently serves as Editor In Chief at BurdaForward, overseeing FOCUS+ and leading Deep News since November 2023. Prior to this role, Carsten Fiedler held significant editorial positions at DuMont, including Editor In Chief of Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger and EXPRESS from January 2014 to November 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Editor at Rheinische Post Mediengruppe from May 2007 to December 2013, and as a Political Correspondent for Die WELT, WELT am Sonntag, and Berliner Morgenpost at Axel Springer SE from 2005 to 2007. Carsten Fiedler began a tenure at Axel Springer SE in April 2001, taking on roles as Local Chief for Berlin/Brandenburg and Regional Political Correspondent for Berliner Morgenpost.
