Pierce Scantlin is an experienced Product Designer at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing since 2008, specializing in creating innovative and visually appealing secure solutions for U.S. currency. In addition to this role, Pierce operates as a freelance oil painter and fine artist since October 2007. Prior experience includes working as a Storyboard/Animatic Artist and Flash/2D Animator at Animation Collective from 2005 to 2007, as well as contributing to the "Speed Racer" project in 2007. Pierce holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in 2D Animation and Computer Art from Savannah College of Art and Design, and furthered studies at the New York Academy of Art from 2006 to 2008.
