Janice Wu

Janice Wu is an accomplished economist with experience at the Bureau of Labor Statistics since June 2020, where responsibilities include monitoring price surveys for the Produce Price Index, analyzing domestic steel and metal manufacturing sectors, and developing internal applications using R and GitHub for data visualization. Prior roles include serving as an International Trade Assistant at the U.S. Commercial Service, where a process improvement initiative enhanced Salesforce entries significantly, and as an International Trade Research Assistant at the California Center for International Trade Development, where market research and event promotion were key contributions. Janice Wu holds a Master of Arts in International Economic Policy from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, International Relations, and Chinese from the University of California, Davis.
