Sean O'Doherty

Sean O'Doherty is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and program analysis within federal government agencies. Currently serving as a Management and Program Analyst at the Bureau of Land Management since November 2022, O'Doherty contributes to analyzing and improving operational procedures that support the Department of the Interior's mission. Previously, O'Doherty was a Medical Administrative Program Specialist at the Department of Veterans Affairs from August 2015 to November 2022, focusing on program effectiveness and organizational improvement within the Care in the Community Service. O'Doherty also held the role of Claims Assistant, managing eligibility determinations for the Non-VA Care Program. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, O'Doherty served over 20 years and holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Training Management from the University of West Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication from California State University-San Bernardino.
