Paul Feikema is a seasoned professional in water resource management and environmental research, currently serving as the Team Lead for Water Forecasting and Manager for Seasonal Streamflow Forecasting at the Bureau of Meteorology since March 2013. In this role, Paul focuses on providing seasonal streamflow forecasts that enhance water management decisions for various stakeholders. Additionally, Paul has been a Fellow at The Peter Cullen Water and Environment Trust since November 2017 and holds multiple academic positions as an Honorary Senior Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow in Forests and Water at the University of Melbourne since August 2004. Previously, Paul worked as a Research Scientist for the Department of Sustainability and Environment from February 1999 to July 2004, leading research on Eucalyptus plantations. Paul Feikema earned a PhD in plantations, salinity, and hydrology from Monash University and holds an MSc and BAgrSc (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.
