Stephen O'Rourke

Stephen O'Rourke currently serves as the End User Computing Area Manager at the Bureau of Meteorology, a position held since December 2016, and has previously undertaken roles as Service Desk Manager and Desktop Support Technician within the same organization. Prior to this, Stephen worked at Anittel located at Philip Morris, where responsibilities included providing technical support to over 500 end users across multiple sites in Australia and New Zealand as a Field Services Engineer. Significant achievements include imaged 300 new Sales Fleet tablets for Windows 7, completing the task in 60% of the allocated time, which resulted in a savings of 10 days in deployment. Additionally, Stephen gained experience as a Software Asset Management Officer at BAE Systems Australia for a brief period in 2011 and as an IT Support Technician at Melbourne IVF from June 2006 to January 2011, where duties encompassed providing timely IT support and developing training materials.
