Anna Wright

Anna Wright, MS, MPA, currently serves as a Program Analyst and Presidential Management Fellow at the Bureau of Reclamation, focusing on the development and application of water resources policy and advising on related programs. Previous experience includes research on plant and water use patterns at the Ecophysiology Lab at Colorado State University, where a manuscript is in preparation. As Science Communications Coordinator for the Graduate Degree Program in Ecology, Anna summarized research findings and hosted workshops. Coordination of the Science Ethics and Policy Symposium in 2022 involved managing a hybrid event with 250 attendees and 29 speakers. Earlier roles included Community and Restoration Planting Manager at Friends of the Urban Forest, where Anna fostered urban greening, and as a Regulatory Analyst at the California Public Utilities Commission, analyzing renewable energy projects. Anna holds a Master of Science in Ecology from Colorado State University and a Master of Public Affairs from the La Follette School of Public Affairs at UW-Madison.
