Kurt Brannon

Kurt Brannon is a Petroleum Engineer at the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement, serving since July 2015 in the Office of Safety Management. Prior experience includes a 17-month rotational program with roles as a Production Engineer and a Drilling and Workover Engineer in the New Orleans District, as well as positions in Development, Resource Conservation, and Technical Assessment within Regional Field Operations. Additionally, Kurt worked as a Consultant at Crescent Drilling and Production and as a Logging Engineer at Diversified Well Logging, LLC. Early career experience includes internships in production and health, safety, and environment at Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University, completed in 2013.
