Odane Brooks

Odane Brooks is an accomplished professional currently serving as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for the Boosting Innovation, Growth and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem (BIGEE) project at the Development Bank of Jamaica Limited, where the focus is on supporting entrepreneurs through government-financed initiatives. With expertise in gender considerations as a Gender Focal Point within the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Odane actively promotes gender equality in policies and projects. In addition, Odane holds multiple roles including a member of the Innovation Management Committee and the Accessibility Standard Technical Committee at the Bureau of Standards Jamaica, and serves as a CARICOM Youth Ambassador advocating for youth issues. Educational qualifications include an MSc in International Public and Development Management with distinction from The University of the West Indies, along with participation in the Caribbean Youth Fellowship focused on public policy. Extensive contributions to various committees and educational institutions further underline Odane's commitment to youth development and research excellence.
