Bureau Schmidt
Marita van Opstal is an experienced communications and project manager specializing in environmental and infrastructure projects. Currently serving as an Omgevingsmanager at Bureau Schmidt since April 2024, Marita also holds the position of Adviseur communicatie en participatie at Provincie Overijssel since July 2019, with responsibilities including project communication for Natura 2000 initiatives and creating podcasts. Previous roles include Communication Advisor at HAEVER!, participating in research for Ameland's accessibility, and Communication Advisor and spokesperson at Provincie Flevoland, where Marita managed crisis communication and developed strategic communication plans. Marita’s extensive background also includes project advising for infrastructure projects at Bureau Voor Noordelijke Gemeenten and various communication roles in Provincie Fryslân. Marita holds a Bachelor's degree in European Studies from NHL Hogeschool and studied Political Science at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Bureau Schmidt helpt bij het realiseren van complexe vraagstukken van begin tot eind. Wij werken aan alles wat je buiten ziet, maar ook wat níet direct zichtbaar is. Denk aan klimaatadaptief bouwen of omgevingsmanagement. Onze expertise ligt bij (water)wegen, verkeer en mobiliteit of groen. Maar daar stoppen wij niet! Ook ondergrondse infra zoals riolering, kabels, warmtenetten en leidingen nemen wij mee in een project. Wij begeleiden de uitvoering, houden toezicht en adviseren over toekomstig onderhoud van het project. Al onze ingenieurs gaan voor het beste resultaat. We zijn soms misschien een tikkeltje eigenwijs, maar altijd eerlijk en betrouwbaar in al onze afspraken. We werken vanuit vier verschillende vestigingen: onderling zijn de lijntjes erg kort, waardoor we erg snel schakelen. Prettig voor onze opdrachtgevers en uiteindelijk komt het de planvorming en uitvoerig ten goede.
