Shanti Faber

Shanti Faber is an experienced professional in environmental management and project leadership, currently serving as an adjunct director and omgevingsmanager at Bureau Schmidt since October 2018, focusing on the geothermic energy project in Leeuwaren. With a background in managing stakeholder relationships and overseeing projects for various municipalities, including gemeente Leeuwarden and gemeente Waadhoeke, Shanti has led significant initiatives such as the Middelsee residential area and the Afsluitdijk cycling project. Formerly associated with Sweco Nederland and Grontmij in various roles including omgevingsmanager and project leader, Shanti combines a solid educational foundation in civil engineering from NHL Hogeschool and experience in managing complex environmental projects across Friesland.
