Sung Yong Kim

Sung Yong KIM is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marketing, sales, and technical operations within the maritime and energy sectors. Currently serving as Marketing & Sales Manager and Technical Operations Manager at Bureau Veritas since July 2018, KIM previously held various leadership roles at DNV GL from June 2005 to June 2018, including Research and Development Manager and Principal Engineer. Earlier experience includes managerial positions at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. and MECA Co., Ltd. KIM holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Pusan National University and a Master’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Inha University.
