Tom Scullion

Tom Scullion is an experienced fire safety engineering professional currently serving as the Technical Director (Fire Safety Engineering) at Bureau Veritas Group since August 2022. Previously, Scullion worked as an Associate Fire Engineer at BB7 Fire & Security Consulting and RPS Europe, and held the position of Senior Fire Engineer at RPS Europe prior to that. With a background as a Fire Safety Engineer at Arup and a PhD Research Fellow at the University of Ulster, Scullion's academic achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master's degree in Fire Safety Engineering from Ulster University. Early professional experience includes roles at Buro Happold, CEM Systems Ltd, and Dajeil, focusing on fire safety engineering solutions and FPGA development.
