Mehul Dhikonia

Mehul Dhikonia has a strong background in data science and analytics. Mehul is currently working as a Staff Data Scientist at Bureau, Inc. since April 2022. Prior to this, Mehul served as the Co-Founder of Maroon.ai, a data science company they helped establish in 2016. At Maroon.ai, they led the data science initiative and successfully devised and deployed real-time business solutions in the domains of credit risk monitoring, credit decisioning, and predictive sales intelligence.

Before Maroon.ai, Mehul was a Co-Founder at Aviyos Insights from August 2015 to September 2016. Aviyos Insights focused on account-based, full-funnel predictive analytics solutions for sales and marketing. Aviyos Insights eventually transformed into Maroon.ai.

From July 2015 to September 2016, Mehul worked as a Data Analyst at Premier Logic. Mehul played a key role in incubating the data science practice at the company and built extensive AI/ML-based solutions. Their work involved automating complex workflows, developing custom machine learning models for unsupervised topic modeling and semantic analysis, and delivering critical business insights for clients.

Prior to Premier Logic, Mehul gained experience as a Financial Analyst at InfoTrie Financial Solutions from May 2014 to December 2015. At InfoTrie, they extensively worked on machine learning-based sentiment analysis algorithms for news data to enhance investment strategies. Mehul also developed investment algorithms based on news sentiment data and published research on the impact of sudden changes in news volume on equity and commodity trade prices.
