Joseph Cheavens

Joseph Cheavens has extensive experience in the legal and finance sectors, currently serving as a Representative at Burford Group since June 2011. Burford Group is recognized as the world's largest provider of investment capital and risk solutions for litigation, offering corporate finance and insurance solutions to businesses and law firms. Prior to this role, Joseph Cheavens spent over four decades at Baker Botts LLP, where the individual held the position of Senior Partner/Senior Counsel from July 1965 to December 2010. Joseph Cheavens holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History from Baylor University.
