James Tusting

Head of Land and Property

James Tusting is a Chartered Rural Surveyor who graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Zoology from Durham University and earned a Master's degree in Real Estate from the Royal Agricultural University. They began their career with internships in land management and went on to work as a Graduate Surveyor for Smiths Gore before qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2016. Currently, James serves as the Head of Land and Property at Burghley House Preservation Trust, where they are part of the Senior Leadership Team and oversee various aspects of Estate Management. Their extensive experience includes roles in event management and agricultural work, highlighting a diverse background in both rural and property sectors.
