Brian Lanier P.e.

Brian Lanier, P.E. has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Brian is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Burk Royalty Co., LTD. since April 2022. Before that, they held the same role at Tailwater E&P from January 2021 to March 2022. At Tailwater E&P, they also worked as a Senior Reservoir Engineer from May 2017 to December 2020. Prior to that, they were a Reservoir Engineer at Headington Energy Partners, LLC from May 2015 to May 2017. Brian began their career as a Completions Intern at Matador Resources Company from May 2014 to August 2014 and as a Production Operations Intern at Swift Energy Company from May 2012 to August 2012.

Brian Lanier, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in the years 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Prosper High School from 2008 to 2011. In 2020, Brian Lanier obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Brian is currently pursuing an MBA at Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, with an anticipated completion date in 2024. Additionally, Brian Lanier has obtained certifications in "Creating & Defending Shale Reserves in PHDWin" (obtained in October 2017) and "Engineering Methods & Advanced PHDWin" (obtained in October 2016) from TRC Consultants, LC (PHDWin).
