Bill Calderwood

Bill Calderwood has extensive experience in various roles within the forestry, mechanical, and military sectors. Currently a Millwright at Burkes Mechanical, Inc. since June 2010, Bill appreciates the flexibility and benefits of this position. Prior to this, Bill owned Land Surveyor from 1992 to 2006, served as President at Searsmont Lumber Company (1989-1992), and operated Coastal Forestry and Surveying as a sole proprietor (1981-1989). Bill's military career includes serving as an analyst in the US Navy Selected Air Reserve (1972-1989) and as a Naval Aviator (1968-1972). Bill started in forestry with the Maine Forest Service as a Service Forester (1974-1981) and holds a degree in Forest Management from the University of Maine.
