Kara Campbell is an accomplished environmental studies student at the University of Vermont, set to graduate in May 2024. Currently serving as an Ecological Kayak Tour Guide for True North Kayak Adventures since May 2024, Kara has also held a Summer Restoration Internship at the University of Vermont, assisting in conducting ecological research in Centennial Woods. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant for Dr. Cheryl Morse in the Environmental Studies program and an Assistant Swim Coach at Burlington Country Club, where Kara has contributed to swimmer development through tailored coaching. Additionally, Kara worked as Head Lifeguard at Palmyra Township Public Beach, ensuring safety and organization within the beach environment.

Burlington Country Club (BCC) is a family friendly private country club located in the heart of Burlington, Vermont. Founded in 1924, BCC has a rich history and continues to evolve while operating at the highest level of golf and hospitality standards and deliver exceptional service to members, guests, employees, neighbors and the environment. BCC promotes an active and engaged membership that has something to offer to each member of a family. Our membership consists of 485 golf members and 180 social members who also have access to our Clubhouse and Grill Room year-round, our seasonal swimming pool, banquet facilities and many social and dining events.
