Bobby Kennedy, MS, OTR/L, currently serves as an Occupational Therapist at Burlington County Special Services School District since April 2022, focusing on school-based occupational therapy. Previously, Bobby held a long-term position as a Substitute Teacher at Our Lady of Good Counsel School, managing a kindergarten classroom. Bobby also directed the S.M.A.S.H. program at Moorestown Parks and Recreation, catering to middle and high school students with special needs. Earlier experience includes two graduate-level fieldwork placements at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation and The Newgrange School, where interventions were developed for clients with various disabilities. Bobby holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Misericordia University.

1997, the forty-two school districts in Burlington County came together to create the Educational Services Unit in order to better meet the educational needs of exceptional students county-wide. Since its inception, the Unit has served the county as a division of the Burlington County Special Services School District. It has continually provided opportunities for shared educational programs and services to benefit both public and private school students and staff throughout the county. ESU strives to deliver the highest quality services in the most expedient and economical manner. The Unit exists to supplement and support programs provided within the local districts. The Unit continues to develop and implement a variety of state-of-the-art services to meet the new and emerging needs of an increasingly diverse student population. ESU is proud to continue the tradition of educational excellence established by Burlington County Special Services School District .
