Erica Ferland

Erica Ferland has a strong background in IT and systems engineering. Erica is currently the Director of IT at Burlington Electric Department since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior System Engineer at C2 - Competitive Computing from 2017 to 2022, where they handled various responsibilities including requirements gathering, design, installation, and maintenance of systems. From 2014 to 2017, they served as the Lead Systems Engineer at MyWebGrocer, where they provided support for different environments and led virtualization and disaster recovery projects. Erica also has experience as a Senior Systems Engineer at Competitive Computing from 2002 to 2014, performing tasks such as project management, server farm maintenance, and consulting. Erica has held positions as a Senior Systems Engineer at Burlee Networks, eNote.com, and Lynx Systems, and as a Network Engineer at Vertek Corporation.

Erica Ferland attended Skidmore College from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Additionally, Erica completed the Leadership Champlain Class of '22 program at the Lake Champlain Chamber of Commerce.
