Rachel Hurwitz is currently working as an EL Teacher and Intake & Assessment Specialist at Burlington School District since July 2020. Prior to this, Rachel worked as a Student Teacher and Substitute Teacher at Winooski School District and Essex Westford School District respectively. Rachel also has experience as a Paraeducator at Burlington School District and completed an internship at Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program. Rachel served as the Chapter President at Pi Beta Phi, overseeing chapter operations and leading a team of executives. Additionally, Rachel worked as a Counselor at Eisner Camp and holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language from Saint Michael's College.
