Birger Mortensen is an experienced mechanical engineer with a diverse background in project management, mechanical supervision, and warranty coordination, currently serving as a Warranty Engineer and Mechanical Supervisor at Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor (BWSC) since August 2019. Prior to this role, Birger held various positions at BWSC from August 2006 to May 2019, including Mechanical Supervisor for a power plant in Benin and Project Manager for international projects. Birger also contributed to the design and sales of stair lifts at Hydro Con A/S and managed mechanical engineering projects at Sennerskov Presser A/S, specializing in hydraulic presses. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Københavns Teknikum, military training, and a craft apprenticeship in industrial machinery fabrication.
