Tom Fannon

Tom Fannon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Tom joined BURN in 2018 and has held several positions, including Director of Carbon Finance, Carbon Finance Manager, Financial Consultant, and FP&A. Before BURN, Tom was a Board Member at Uproot Poverty One By One from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they worked at AlixPartners as a Vice President and Associate. Tom also worked at Ernst & Young as a Senior Auditor and Staff Auditor. Additionally, Tom served as a Grad Assistant at James Madison University in 2008 and 2009.

Tom Fannon completed their education in the field of Accounting. Tom first obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from James Madison University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Afterward, they pursued a Masters's degree in Accounting at the same university from 2008 to 2009. In terms of additional certifications, Tom became a Certified Public Accountant in November 2010 through the AICPA and obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner certification in January 2014 from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
