Kurt Gurney

Kurt Gurney has extensive experience in the education field, with roles as Principal at Forest Grove Elementary School starting in 2020, Brantford Elementary School from 2016 to 2020, and Buckingham Elementary School from 2013 to 2016. Prior to their principal positions, they served as Head Teacher at Maywood Community School from 2011 to 2013 and at Morley Elementary School from 2007 to 2010. Kurt began their career as a Teacher at Burnaby School District in 1996 and continued in this role until 2007.

Kurt Gurney received a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Psychology/English/Education from Simon Fraser University in 1995. Kurt later pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership from the same university, completing it in 2011.
