David Gamble has worked in a variety of roles in the mental health field since 2019. David began their career as a Mental Health Counseling Resident at Health Brigade, formerly Fan Free Clinic, where they provided individual counseling sessions and developed goal-oriented psychoeducational and activity therapy groups. David then worked as a Mental Health Counselor Intern and Comprehensive Harm Reduction Intern at the same organization. In 2019, they became a Research Assistant at Southern New Hampshire University. David then worked as an Associate Therapist at Talkspace in 2022 and a Substance Abuse Counselor at BrightView in the same year. In 2022, they began working as an Associate Therapist at Cerebral and an Outpatient Therapist at National Counseling Group. David also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Walden University in 2021 and 2022. In 2023, they began working as an Adjunct Instructor at University of the People and a Mental Health Instructor at Burnalong.
David Gamble has a long history of education. David obtained a BA in psychology- addiction from Southern New Hampshire University in 2016-2017. David then went on to pursue a Masters in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from the same university from 2017-2020. Currently, they are enrolled in Walden University, where they are completing their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. David also holds a certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate from the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
