Carol Schadelbauer

Principal & Co-Director, Training Programs at Burness

Carol Schadelbauer has had an extensive career in science and health public relations working for and consulting with nonprofit organizations with a focus on the fields of science, health, and education. Carol leads strategic communications projects, campaigns, and messaging, as well as directs media and presentation training for the company.

Her passion for helping medical professionals, researchers, and leaders become effective advocates for their research and policy agendas with the public, policymakers and the media led to the formalization of training services at Burness. Carol and the team continuously develop a variety of specialized media and policy training and seminars, working with organizations such as Duke University, Johns Hopkins Medicine, the University of Pennsylvania, and The National Institutes of Health (NIH), among others. Carol is an occasional lecturer on communications and advocacy at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore.
