Chief Business Development Officer at Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer

Robyn is the Chief Business Development Officer at BD&P and has responsibility for the business development and marketing functions at the firm. Robyn is a proud Calgarian, and previously held the position of Vice President of Business Development at Calgary Economic Development. In this role, she co-led the Amazon HQ2 bid, developed a Calgary-Silicon Valley strategy, created a global foreign direct investment approach, worked on the digitization of the energy sector, led trade missions and developed an economic development cannabis strategy for Calgary. She was the founder of WORKshift, a national initiative that provided resources and guidance to organizations and municipalities implementing future-of-work strategies. She is also the author of Workshift: Future-Proof Your Organization for the 21st Century.

Robyn has consulted to Calgary-based start-ups and has a passion for the emerging new economy in Alberta.

Outside the office, you will see Robyn spending as much time skiing in the Rocky Mountains with her family and traveling abroad as her schedule permits.
