Matt Szambelan is an experienced professional with a robust background in business development, mergers and acquisitions, and operations management. Currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Development at Burnham RNG, Matt has also held the position of Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, focusing on business strategy. As a founder and self-funded searcher at Meridian Hill LLC, Matt managed all aspects of lower-market M&A processes. Previously, Matt served as Director of Strategic Sourcing and Manufacturing at Enviva, where leadership of teams and significant project management resulted in cost savings and operational improvements. Early career experience includes roles as a management consultant at Accenture and KPMG US, concentrating on operations and post-acquisition integration. Matt holds an MBA in Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and has completed the Harvard Negotiation Institute program in business negotiation.
