Kourtney Benton

Kourtney Benton, Esq. is a litigation associate at Burns Anderson Jury & Brenner since October 2022, previously working as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Ledricka J. Thierry at the 27th Judicial District Court. With a strong educational background in law and economics, including a Juris Doctor and Diploma of Comparative Law from LSU Law, a Doctor of Law - JD from Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III), and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics/ Pre Law from Spelman College, Kourtney has also gained valuable experience in various legal roles such as student attorney/mediator, judicial extern, and federal civil procedure tutor/teaching assistant.
